Why Am I Here?

We were created to “Manage God’s Resources”

Main Passage: Matthew 25:14–30

Theme: Stewardship, Responsibility, and Kingdom Accountability

🔑 Stewardship

Definition: Stewardship is the management and care of something that belongs to someone else.

Explanation:
In the Kingdom of God, stewardship means faithfully managing everything God has entrusted to us—our time, talents, resources, relationships, and influence. We are not owners; we are caretakers who are expected to multiply and use what He’s given us for His glory and the good of others.
📖 “It is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.” – 1 Corinthians 4:2

🧭 Responsibility

Definition: Responsibility is the duty to take ownership of one’s role, actions, and assignments.

Explanation:
God expects each believer to recognize and carry out their unique Kingdom assignments. Responsibility includes showing up, being consistent, and being dependable. It’s not about doing everything, but doing your part faithfully and wholeheartedly.
📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” – Colossians 3:23

🕊️ Kingdom Accountability

Definition: Kingdom accountability is being answerable to God and others for how we live, serve, and steward our gifts in alignment with God’s purpose.

Explanation:
We will all stand before God to give an account of our lives (Romans 14:12). Accountability in the Kingdom also involves submitting to spiritual leadership, receiving correction, and walking in community with others who help us stay on course. It’s not about punishment—it’s about growth, alignment, and fruitfulness.
📖 “So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” – Romans 14:12
